Here?s a classic suitcase combo from British amp manufacturer Laney. Their range of VC 30 combos offer differing speaker configurations with 10? and 12? options, this model happens to use 10? speakers and features a single channel with foot switch-able gain and a secondary channel with its own level control, three band EQ and a bright switch.
The VC30 is a true class A valve amplifier, which means that its valves are always piping hot and ready to deliver that refined warm valve tone that is loved by so many guitarists. The pre-amp stage uses Premium ECC83 tubes whilst the output stage prefers to utilise EL84 valves, included with the VC 30 is on-board Reverb whilst there?s also an FX loop in case you wish to add external processing.
The 30 watts RMS rating is configured to 4 ohms for the sake of adding additional speaker cabinets to extend the sound dispersal range and additional speaker connections are in the form of quarter inch jack inserts. The two internal 10? drivers are Jensen C10Q16?s that were custom designed specifically for the VC 30 range, the combo weighs in at 20Kg with dimensions of 559 x 250 x 420 mm.
