SW Engineering Manager / Unit Manager
 
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of talented software developers, team leads and testers working in various web development projects
Making sure our solutions are delivered on time, on budget and with high customer satisfaction
Resource allocation decisions for different projects in his/her unit
Making sure that processes are followed within his/her unit
Line management of his/her team members including employee development, performance evaluations, day to day feedback giving and coaching his/her team members
Participates customer/internal project meetings as a coach for his team members
Working together with sales team by driving quotations and estimations with his/her team members
Participates recruiting of new team members to his team as a key decision maker. 
Part of the company’s management team, participates improvement meetings with his ideas and proposals
 
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in management/team leading experience from which at least 2 years of project management experience in various software development and/or testing projects.
Software industry experience with broad knowledge of programming languages and web/mobile/desktop technologies
Proven experience in managing SW projects that are consistently delivered on time and on budget
Experience from SW outsourcing companies and foreign clients is considered as a benefit
Appropriate college/university degree
Good understanding about different software development processes, especially Scrum and other agile methods
Previous working experience in a Scrum master role is highly appreciated
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with his subordinates,peers and top management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to work as a member of a multinational team
Service and customer oriented, business minded individual  
Ability to work independently and high level decision making skills
