Management

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT (in coordination with HR)
*Leads his people well; active coach and mentor
 *Recommends individual development plan and career path for his people 
 *Monitors and evaluates job performance of branch management team
 *Ensures that there is succession planning program
 *Schedules trainings/ workshops/ focused group discussions when needed   in coordination with HR
 *Cascades agenda discussed during DH meeting to his team
 *Organizes general meetings for the branches 
 *Calls meetings/ consultation regularly *Other tasks that may be assigned to him
  
 ADMINISTRATIVE
 *Provides feedback to all concerned departments/units
 *Schedules the dates of meetings & performance update monthly 
 *Attends regular branch/ staff meeting/ DH meeting 
 *Approves leave applications
 *Evaluates and approves requisitions for manpower, equipment, etc.
*Checks game plans, reports, briefing sheets and other management tools
 *Conducts Store Performance Evaluation 
 *Coordinates with Mall Admin for any changes in products, prices, operational procedures etc. when applicable
 *Formulates summary, analysis and reporting of Audit Results
 *Prepares memos relating to store’s procedures, product changes and the like
 *Informs Management of audit results done by the Mall 
 *Coordinates with concerned departments/ units mall activities, programs etc.
 *Other tasks that may be assigned to him
SERVICE MANAGEMENT
 *Monitors the store’s performance in meeting customers’ needs & demands
 *Provides and assures on-going support for stores to achieve their business objectives
 *Ensures transfer of systems and procedures which will achieve store business plans
 *Disseminates feedback, learning and suggestions from the branches to all concerned persons for evaluation and review
 *Acts as catalyst of continuous improvement in store systems and work flow
 *Variance Monitoring weekly and consolidation, analysis & reporting
 *Promotes appreciation of and consistent adherence to the company’s operational systems and procedures, policies and standards among all stores
 *Formulates policies and standard operating procedures and monitors store’s implementation of the said SOPs
 *Prepares, implements and monitors production, productivity, quality and service  standards:
 FOH                                                                      BOH
 -    attending the customer                 - holding time
 -    food serving time                           - serving time
 -    attending the table                        - assembling time (take-out)
 -    bussing time                                     & deliveries
 -    counter SOPs                                 - cooking & serving temperature
 
*Tracks, analyzes and resolves (sources of) customer complaints; acts as the coordinator and/or team leader in every crisis situation (store level) and/ or Customer Complaints
 *Gives update to management on incidents/ issues and concerns that are related to customer complaints
*Analyzes manpower positioning to ensure maximum utilization
 *Facilitates “mystery shopper” program
 *Initiates customer service program
 *Other tasks that may be assigned to him
  
 FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (in coordination with Accounting & Marketing)
 *Monitors and analyzes operating costs of the store and ensuresthat maximum profitability is being achieved
 *Receives daily updates from stores on their actual sales performance Receives and gives feedback on monthly performance updates on sales and financial performance of the stores as submitted by branch managers
 *Monthly sales report and analysis per product and per category
 *Ensure sales and profitability targets are met
 *Daily gathering of store’s sales, TC, AC, ADS with analysis, justification (decrease/decline) and recommendation
 *Presentation of Approved Targets (Sales, TC/AC, Labor Cost,Utilities, Opex,) to the team
 *Weekly & End of the Month SPMH to Date Report
 *Weekly & monthly sales consolidation and reporting
 *Formulation and defense of budget for the department
 *Prepares strategic forecasts and budgets (monthly,quarterly,annually)
 *Monitorscosts of controllables such as electricity, water, gas, office supplies, complimentary &/or entertainment meals etc.
 *Monitors and enforces accurate inventory system of the store; reports any DIC anomalies & initiates investigation
 *Analyzes variances and takes corrective action; monitors wastages Prepares monthly financial reports to Management such as variances & manpower costs
 *Other tasks that may be assigned to him
  
MARKETING/SALES MANAGEMENT (in coordination with Marketing)
 *Implements and monitors marketing programs of the store
 *Leads the stores in building goodwill and good corporate image by promoting the relevance of the business to the community
 *Ensures that business plans are consistent with the company’s image and brand
 *Assists stores within the area to work together in order to maximize opportunities and gain needed leverage in business building
 *Monitors implementation of system-wide marketing and advertising programs
 *Sets quota per product/ item
 *Monitors and evaluates customers’ needs & wants:
     - conducts customer survey
     - make customer profile
     -come up with customer retention program
 *Other tasks that may be assigned to him
 
PRODUCT QUALITY MANAGEMENT
*Ensures that quality of product complies with our set standards
 *Ensures that handling, storing and preparing of products are done properly
 *Coordinates with concerned departments/ units all product quality-related concerns
 *Acts as core trainer for some of the product and program launching
 *Regularly checks products for their appearance, texture, taste etc. to ensure that we only serve quality products
 *Conducts surprise line-checks (temperatures, sizes, etc.)
 *Other tasks that may be assigned to him
 
EQUIPMENT & SANITATION MANAGEMENT (in coordination with Production & Engineering)
 *Ensures a safe, secure and healthy store environment
 *Establishes and enforces sanitation standards and procedures
 *Ensures compliance of all stores on the periodic maintenance of the store’s equipment and facilities
 *Schedules repair & maintenance concerns of stores; come up with a preventive maintenance calendar
 *Organizes 5S committee and/or acts as the 5S Team Leader
 *Implements safety programs
 *Coordinates with pest-control provider
 *Ensures the upkeep of the equipment; monitors regular checkup
 *Monitors housekeeping checklist; monitors cleanlinessof the store
 *Establishes regular monitoring of preventive maintenance calendar
 *Other tasks that may be assigned to him
 
SPECIAL PROJECTS:  RENOVATIONS & NEW BRANCHES (in coordination with Business Development)
 *Coordinates with SMD for the pull-outof equipment, furniture and supply from the store & ensures proper storage
 *Coordinates with commissary & engineering for the transfer of equipment, furniture and supply
 *Provides HR the list of manpower needed for new branches
 *Prepares list of initial inventory
 *Coordinates with Marketing with regard to promotional materials like flyers, posters, radio ads, newspaper ads etc
 *Ensures store safety and security at all times
 *Recommends new design for stores
 *Other tasks that may be delegated by Operations Managers
